doglegsa Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Does anyone have any info on the cyclist who crashed on the Club 100 ride this Sunday.?Crash happened on the Vereeniging road/M51 going out south towards the Cafe Cirque. Saw the chopper come in to airlift the guy out. Many thanks
HairyLegs Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I don't have any info on the rider, but from what I heard is that he hit a pothole and went down hard. Possible serious neck injury, hence the chopper.
Patchelicious Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Not a good weekend! One of my buddies was hit on Kliprivier yesterday by taxi in yellow lane. Will post about that in seperate thread. Another buddy rode past this accident and sent me this: "Shame one of the club100 boys went down hard and really messed up. His feet and hips were in different angles. Was airlifted out. Road past it on way back. And saw helicopter fly over us then back with him." Hope the dude is ok!!
