You'd be doing yourself a HUGE disservice if you didn't at least ride/test the Camber.

I have a 2014/2015 and it's perfect for stage races and trails at Haka, Red B, Van G etc.

The 2016 model has 120mm suspension, relaxed 68.5 head tube angle; wide 29mm rims (plus 1x11 & SWAT box on carbon models).

I have tested the Camber and Epic and hence the Camber being no 1 on my list. I'll go out and test the Anthem SX and test the Camber again just to make sure I compare red apples with giant apples. Thanks for the feedback.

TBH Edgar, either way it'll be a great bike. Camber is apparently EPIC (sigh, that name) with a 130mm fork on the front. Giant is also BRILLIANT with the 120mm fork.

Loving my 2016 Anthem x 29er. Already put a shorter stem on with wider bars. Put a 120mm fork on and wow, what a difference. I have ridden the camber too and it also felt great. Both bikes will get the job done!

Races I am doing next year:

1. 36ONE

2. TransBaviaans

....

I think we can all agree that the Camber and Anthem SX makes decent trail bikes.

What about their marathon capabilities? As you can see I am doing 36ONE and TB next year. I am quite sure they will do just fine.

so you haven't pulled the trigger yet?

Not yet ... hunting for a bargain, which will never come haha. Let me warn you, I take months to buy stuff ... pedantic like anything.

Reckon it's one of those bikes that can ALMOST everything well. Like a Anthem on roids ...
