My understanding is that some sort of xray needs to be performed?

My understanding is that some sort of xray needs to be performed? I had exactly that dilemma (https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/154583-cracked-carbon/page-2) and although non-destructive testing eg x-ray can be done, I don't know of anyone with the kit. In my case, the guy I took the frame to, flexed the frame and felt the 'paint crack' and felt the crack flex as well. He then removed the paint, and there was the carbon crack. The other way to tell is.....ask Bogus! His spidey-sense was 100% accurate all the way from CT.
