My V2 version hasn't missed a beat and it's been on my ride for well 18 months. Anything that much different in the 2016 one to previous versions?

VERY different.

2-bolt clamp (fore and aft) means a far better contact & adjustment for the seat.

Far lower stack height for the head of the post. Previous one was in the region of 40mm larger, meaning that the height of "exposed" section of seatpost above the collar is just about 10mm different between the new 150mm and old 100mm versions.

Other bonus points is that you can be run internally or externally, 5min job to switch between the two..

Also the lever can be swopped out for an old shifter or other cable actuating device. Whatever suits you.

Have a RS post stealth and I must say works really well but not even a year and it suddenly lost air and oil.Sent it in to agents and they say a bolt came loose because I never serviced it.That little episode cost me 1k with a bleed kit so I can fit it myself, the parts were under warranty still so no charge for service kit. My previous post a KS is still going strong with no service. Mates have got the Giant post and they also a happy with them and have had no issues, this might be my next buy and I will get rid of the RS.
