Well it all turned out well in the end, been meaning to get one of the rapide bars and saddles but never got around to doing it.

Now I have a bar, saddle and seatpost coming.

Those rapide saddles are actually super comfortable, got the old planetx one on the mtb at the moment but its seriously long in the tooth.

Just an update to this, received seatpost from Wayne, crazy fast service as always.

I can tell right away by feeling it that its not going to slip at all, has very radially machined surface, so pretty much light ridges the whole way up.

Helping a friend with her trance and giant dropper post giving issues.

The post has a tenancy to rotate when the clamp is fastened. ....and tightly fastened. Clamp is a piece of highly engineered crap!

Dropper is setup as stealth and at times the dropper trends to extend. This usually when the user is going down some decent task and relying on the saddle being dropped.

My strong suspicion is that post drops and twists and activates the cable to release the saddle to extend. ......sounds strange, but if you mimic the action it feels like it could be the problem.

Going away for a coupe of days and then going to resolve.

But could Giant be a little out on their tolerances?

Could well be out in tolerances, I cant blame them for my hassle though because my bike had a titan seatpost for some obscure reason.

Is there no machining left over in the seatpost of the trance that is maybe catching and releasing the dropper?
