Not those, but Myles has the alu ones and I have honestly only ever experienced good things with rapide products.

*had.

I had the alu ones on my Reign X, and am considering them again for the new reign (looking for something with a bit more sweep)

Talked to Wayne about the Carbons, and they have the same breaking force as the alu ones (300kg) with not a lot more stiffness. Having said that, the alu ones are STIFF. Both myself, at 100 plus kilos, and Murray Duggan (a far better rider than me) remarked at the stiffness of them. They're a top quality product, and if the alu ones are anything to go by, then the carbons will be top notch. But I can't say that I've held or seen them personally, and the pic on the site doesn't offer up much detail.

Wayne (Kiwi on the Hub) reckons they remove some of the trail buzz which the alu bars don't. That's to be expected though, given the material.

Weight difference isn't huge though - I think 60g between the alu and carbon, with the carbon being the lighter of the 2.

That is a rather sweeping statement.

Of all time you say?? wow. You should get on the internet more if you think that.
