...and the next question is...how do you put it in??

Get a lekker fat syringe and inject it in through the side and then then just patch that little hole to make sure.

If it works as well as it should then you need not patch it LOL

I'm talking about a mother of a needle. Those they use to season cows on the spit with.

WW, I got a cannister at Bruce Reyneke that appears to seal tubbies; however the "cuts" have to be relatively small to sustain 14bar ... I have found that sometimes the cut opens but "seals" again around 8bar; enough to cycle home!

I buy the sealant filled MTB tubes, have replaced my tyres but have yet to change tube or fix a punture.

I believe there is a gadget you can buy to pump slime into tubes through the valve.

can you use sealant with clinchers ?

Yes, you can also buy road slime tubes but from experience i found they dont work as well as MTB do.

WW .. the one I have used successfully is a Barberi products. I see that Vittoria Pit Stop is also available for both clinchers and tubbies ....

Colour me stupid. What do you need tubby specific or clincher specific goop for? The airtight layer inside a tubby, is pretty much the same as the tube inside a clincher tyre? Marketing bollocks or real need?
