Thats my experience of them.Ok right, so moving to a 34t on an oval will not make it easier to turn over as apposed to a 32t round ring?

Like for like round to oval makes it a bit easier but going up in teeth to oval will make it harder than the like for like swop as you going up in teeth so need some more effort to turn over. Sheez, this cycling thing can get overly complicated. Wish they would stop bring make all this new stuff. Its like going to the chocolate isle as a store and there are tons to choose from but if they only had two then life will be simple...hahaha

Some are more like 35T. The 34T round will just feel more "choppy". the better feel is what helps with lowering fatigue. but thats about the only science going on. the rest is marketing magic
