The same reason Ferrari, Mercedes, Williams hide their cars behind screens and under tarpaulins during official testing...they don't want the opposition to see what they are doing But the real reason i'd guess is because he does not want Darth Vader(the cycling press) to follow him around every day off season

Picking off chubby mountain bikers if you know what I mean and the next thing this bloke breezed past on a 10% climb with a cheery howzit. True story. Anyway I managed to keep quite close over the next few Km so clearly he wasn't going very hard then I punctured. To my surprise his support vehicle stopped and helped me with a pump so I didn't need to use a bomb. Very friendly guy. We chatted while I changed tubes and used his pump. When he left I thanked him and said I hope Chris nails it. He laughed and said he also hoped so.

Lekker man, those Skyborgs are quite a decent bunch Wasn't Gary Blem was it, he was with them in the lowveld recently
