Please help me out

i have been trying to replace the bearing in my front hub this whole afternoon , as per the site and manuel there is a sleeve in between the bearings which you just push down with your finger so there is a gap on the bearing for you to tap it out......right

i pushed it down and it moved maybe 2mm MAX tried again nope thats all , its hard to even see the other bearing none the less i tried and tried and tried and i can't tap it out even went to the hardware store and bought a punch still did not work , i am hopeless now

please help  i just want to ride my bike again :(

You are on the right track. The sleeve only moves a few mm.

A large flat screwdriver is usually the best tool make sure you are supporting the hub on something to allow the bearing space to drop out the bottom when hit

yes i understand that part it's just i'm not getting to that part , part of the bearing that is sticking out is so small i cat get a tool to firmly lay on it while tapping

Go to mrb.co.uk and look under the "how to" tab and search under tech advice, they have this step by step, there is a trick to it, sounds like you are not working from the inside to the back of the bearing through the hub to knock out bearing, just check out the site- also shows rear hub bearing replacement, its for hope pro freehub but stans 3.30 are the same, good luck,

Blind hole puller is the thing but as Droo said a pin punch will do the job.  Support the wheel hub on top of the jaws of a large vice with the jaws open just wide enough for the bearing to clear.  With the pin punch push the sleeve off the inside race of the bearing and tap it out evenly by moving the punch 180 deg after each hit.

If you don't have a press to fit the new bearings I find it best to sit on a chair with the hub on my knees.  Then tap the new bearing in with the punch on the outer race, moving again 180 deg each time.  A steady hand is needed to prevent damaging the hub or the bearing.  When the bearing is fully seated the sound made when you hit the race changes to more of a "ring"

Don't forget to fit the sleeve and axle before installing the second bearing.
