Understand one bike weigh in at about 48 kg. I don't want to be the one trapping that thing when the battery goes flat. Hopefully they will give every cop a portable solar panel/  charger thingy  .

The key to these are correct maintenance, regular service at proper shops and proper battery care re: charging and use. Otherwise its a replace all moving parts every 4 months exercise.

 

I know the golf clubs have fits when the staff do not maintain the batteries in the carts correctly, you go through a battery set a year instead of one set every three years!! (Which is a large portion of the value of the cart, especially if Lithium based.)
