Bud From team @epiceveryday phones her mom, a former pro mountain biker, moments after finishing 2 min. past the cut off time on stage 3 of Cape Epic, the most grueling mountain bike stage race in the world.

 

 

Bud and Lentine gave it their all, but injuries finally took their toll, slowing them down on an incredibly tough Stage 3, resulting in finishing a mere 2 minutes past their cut off time. Cape Epic is unforgiving and uncompromising. Hundreds of teams will not finish due to injury, sickness and fatigue in what has been called the Tour de France of Mountain Biking.
