That is an awesome photo. Although there are many really good pics, I was expecting more. I remember there being a drone and cameraman at that knarly rocky descent on day 1, but haven't seen the pics. Maybe it was just them filming for the video.

I only found 2 of me  I seemed to have been quite skilled in dodging the camera given how many photos there were taken.

 

More photos would have been nice, but I'll take the one above over any of the boring "jetline action photo"s we normally get

I've just entered this year's event after a brief problem with the instant EFT payment going through. Seems like it has now - will firm it up tomorrow. Going alone and looking forward to my first proper stage event - the MTB adventures Houwhoek stuff is nice but I don't think it qualifies.

Sorry to be missing this because of my injury. Instead i will be going for a swim with the biokineticist and a pain session with the physio.

 

Weight bearing again after 7 weeks, 4 weeks away from my first ride. Delighted to be walking again. Filled with gratitude and admiration for the skill and expertise of the surgeon.
