I am sorry for your and the family's loss. My condolences.

 

I am torn with this - a life taken unnecessarily, on a road (N4 national road) not intended for cycling. I have been saying it for a long time - the N4 highway is DANGEROUS. An accident was waiting to happen. Drivers are going in excess of 140km/h on it, yet people are cycling on it. Why are cyclists on the N4? THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION FOR ROADIES - no other open roads "safe" enough. Tshwane council will never develop cycling-safe communities, although there are a lot of commuters and recreational cyclists that need safe roads.
