Okay I'm here. Shees what a hectic last 2 days.. I didn't see a pedal stroke yesterday. . But made it back from RTB for today's stage..

The bunch is now 9:30 back on the head of the race. You sense Orica will be quite happy with that, as things remain calm. It can't stay that way for long. We still have a huge climb left after this, but you have to expect things to be lit up on these slopes.

Movistar now come to the front and inject some pace. Valverde is now racing to get his podium ambitions back on track and is seemingly not afraid to take it on early.

I see today as a battle for first between Nibs and Chaves and for third between Valverde and SK. Going to be a cracker.

 

Interesting to see Nibali come back. Quite a recovery yesterday but then we are only talking the difference between being slightly off the pace and then being a bit ahead. Not like some of the recoveries n the past like Landis bonking one day and doing a 100km solo effort the next.
