BDF Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 How do get @ R 25.00 a bike?? Season ticket?? Similar experience 3 weeks ago. Down near the river on the red route, problems with a few punctures. Security chap by the name of Moster arrived to help and watched over us while we fixed the punctures. Very helpful, very friendly and was all to keen to make sure were happily on our way. He was very proud of his section of "patrol area" and escorted us 3/4 of the way home. You can buy a 20 pass ticket for R500. It never expires and is transferable as well. Normally I go there with one or 2 kids so it saves quite a bit in the long run!

Paul Ruinaard Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Actually Northern Farm does some great work. They are really making major advancements from where they started many years ago. Its come a long way since then and I reckon they add an enormous amount to the community. Its something to be very proud of. I always get excited when I see the young kids out there thinking we have another Burry or TdF GC ride making their way through from that academy. So much talent. And so good to see the guys that work there are proud and pro-active. My only beef is that the trails have remained sterile and they haven't got any depth in them - I think that they should take some of that hard earned money and develop some more creative lines and invest in getting someone who has some experience in building some flow into the sections. There are great pieces but there are also some really horrible sections and I reckon that with that budget and a bit more of a professional approach there could be some really great outcomes there.
