Is it stuck at the Post Office Side or Customs Side

Is it stuck at the Post Office Side or Customs Side

According to TRAKPAK and Correos it has been "Retained at Customs", then 2 days later "Delivery has been dispatched from change of destination office".

I presume this means its at a post office somewhere...

My greatest fear is that someone has scavenged the collection notice out of my postbox and gone to collect my parcel... my local post office is quite slack on asking for ID's and signatures etc. however I suppose there will be duties to pay which makes that scenario somewhat unlikely

yup track 17 is my most reliable tracking service

Tracks it right to my post office so that I know when to start keeping an eye out for that first notification

Did you try 17track?

dont stress about it (too much) as long as you have a tracking number.

be thankful the post office isn't on strike again; took 9 weeks to get  a set of rims from Joburg depot to me- after it took 2 days from UK to Jozi.

a bit of patience and good some good luck that the clearance guys feel inspired to move more than 5 parcels for the day.

No need to waste time phoning, you can input your overseas tracking number on the parcel track website http://www.parceltrack.co.za/

If it is recorded in the system, it will tell you where it is and in transit to, it will sometimes also give you the local tracking number

Thank you for the link, just tracked my parcel, last scanned yesterday at a nearby hub

I did but it doesn't recognize the tracking number input. Tried the parceltrack website aswell. Will try again this afternoon though

Just a small hint, you don't need to wait for the notification, if you have the tracking number you can collect it from them without it.

Edit: if is a recent delivery, might not be logged on the system yet if cannot be found
