New indoor trainer advice

Need some help on new idt. All my training is power based and I do 3 hour zwift rides on the weekend.

I broke 2 new Tacx Vortex smart trainers in 5 weeks. Apparently they are not made to do 3hour rides and I cycle to hard which I doubt.

I race in VA with a power to weight 4.1

They said I can get a bushido but they are relectunt as I broke 2 units.

Do you think I should give the bushido a try or move over to wahoo kicker?

I was advised not use Tacx trainers any more and I must use a Wahoo KickR. They will not warrant any future trainers even if I upgrade from a Vortex to a more exspensive unit. Looks like my mind was made up for me.

Looking forward to climb on a Wahoo KickR.

Try the new cycleops version.... that will be bulletproof.

Enjoy the Kickr, it is definitely the best option.

Enjoy... it's well worth it. I spend about 7 hours a week on mine. Done over 3000km and 40km climbed on Zwift since September.

Only been able to do 13.5 hours, 427km distance and climb 5.8km in zwift on 2 Vortex units.

Pathetic really....good thing you went to the kickr, its a brick outhouse and plays well with apps.

The only issue I have with the Kickr is that it has 4 ground contact points and only 2 of them are adjustable. But that really is the only issue I have with it.
