Arch EX on Pro 4. If they've got alu nipples, budget on a rebuild as well - reasons detailed earlier in the thread.

Pro 3 have proprietary 4 bolt rotors which will be a pig to replace, and Crests are a bit on the light side for everyday use.

The other thing I must ask now that I have chosen a wheel. I have been using Conti tires lately. My specific combination is a Mountain King II 2.2  Protection on the front and a Race King 2.2 protection on the back. I was thinking about swapping out my protections for RaceSport Conti's. Anyone know what the puncture resistance of the Race Sport tires are like? I moved over to protections cause I was getting tons of punctures on my old Racing Ralph and Rocket Ron EVO's.

No personal experience, but generally I find if you don't get the snakeskin/protection/equivalent of any brand of tyres, you get punctures.

Of those, same as Droo said, Arch EX on Hope 4. Preferably the new Arch EX and defos Brass nips.

Anyone know who has stock of the new Crest Mk3 rims that can build me a new wheel set with Hope 4 hubs in Gauteng ?

I think this is true. As I managed to puncture my ProTection RaceKing rear at Trailseeker Hazeldean yesterday. Thus ending my race. So I shant be trying to shave weight if I am managing to damage ProTections even.

I settled on a pair of American Classic Race 29's. Very happy with them!!!!! And they look classy without being overbearing with the graphics!

This. You can get dt350 hubs from a lot of the Chinese manufacturers now as well. You'll land up with a strong 30mm wide wheel set at around 1500g.

Madbradd.... which Chinese supplier did you go with? And how long you been riding them silly for? Im in the market for new wheels (road) and the dollar is dropping
