It could have been worse. He could have struck one of the barrier poles with his head. He slid cleanly through them, but I suspect the dip just after the barriers did the damage.

Yep. At first it didn't look too serious. Then he barely moved and then stopped moving. Haven't heard anything for a while.

Ja.. no info coming through, last updated was that he is conscious.

 

Really hope is is okay and doesn't have any serious injuries.

Now Astana might not be my favourite team..but I am kinda routing for LLS to win the stage here, he has tried so much throughout the Vuelta and come close so many times.

He's Spanish so I have some time for him :-) Likewise, not keen on Astana.

 

Actually a Spanish win on the penultimate stage would be cool.

2 fractures in the pelvis.

Well is Sky's tactics were to make Movistar work.. yes they are working but at a very easy pace.. one would've thought they would've wanted Movistar to be tired by the time the last 2 climbs started.
