Noisy drivetrain driving me Insane

Hubbers I need your help.

I washed my bike 2 weekends ago (16th), after the wash and lube I've done 4indoor trainer rides and 2 outdoor rides. The drivetrain is already noisy.

I have reapplied some lube and then its quiet for 2 or 3 rides then it starts again.

To clean it I used some sunlight liquid and scrubbed it with a bottle cleaner brush.

I use squirt lube.

What advise do you guys have for me?

Remove chain, soak in turps or methylated spirits. Jiggle around a bit before leaving it, and jiggle it again every so often. Carb cleaner also works, as does diesel.

Remove from container, and let dry by hanging it by a single link. Then lube.

The sunlight & lube attracts dirt particles. Also - when you lube, wipe off the excess.

New Chain was bought in April, and New chainrings beginning of July. Only old parts are cassette and derailleur wheels

is the noise a new thing or only since you replaced the chain and chainrings?

My lbs gave it a wash and lube when they put on the new chainrings. After 2 rides it was noisy. The chainrings are the rotor noQ aero rings

Also, what kind of noise is it?

Thanks Man! Will try this weekend.

Will the carb cleaner be safe to use on the derailleur wheel as well, because it seems the lube builds up there.

If you spin the cranks its a grrrrr sound, but it happens in every gear. No chain rub

Check the distance between the top jockey wheel and the cluster. It almost sounds like that gap is too small.

That would only be an issue in the highest gear, not every gear as the OP is saying.

Will check this evening. What should the gap be?

If it is this, how do you adjust the spacing?

Is the chain threaded though the RD correctly?  You wouldn't believe how many times I've seen the chain threaded on the wrong side of the little tab that's between the two pulley wheels.

If you do, then you'll need to repack the bearings with grease as it'll remove that with the grit. Jockeys should just get a wipe to remove gunk. Not a degrease

2-3mm in the lowst gear (biggest cog on the back)

There is a screw where the derailleur attaches to the hanger. That changes the angle of dangle so to speak.

Is the front derailleur binding against the chain at all?
