I normally scan the cycle events portal (http://www.cycleevents.co.za/) for upcoming road and MTB events

 

Since the last couple of days, I am being diverted to a strange advertising site.

 

Anyone knows what is going on / how to get through to the real Mckoy?

I'm having the same problem. It seems to be some form of virus!

Not good when this is happening on a website that holds your personal information, ID #'s etc ????

Aware of that. Was a slight hint to the OP that if the domain/site was compromised, best will be to send notification via another domain.
