Eddy Gordo Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Nothing changes. The signs only offer something concrete to make your point.. yet it’s up to how that point is understood. Often not.Yes I agree, but i feel if its says no running, then it would change one or two peoples thoughts of running down trail.
Eddy Gordo Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Hasn't there always been a big rut on that section? I seem to remember that even when there were trees the trail was split in half way past the old trail fork onto the old lizard trail. I like riding the DH trails. I am not massively in love with Cobra at the moment... I seem to be skitting all over the place There possibly has always been a rut there, but its deeper now.

(Deon) Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 Yes I agree, but i feel if its says no running, then it would change one or two peoples thoughts of running down trail. So when we came up with the choice of words, we had to work on it in conjunction with SANParks. It’s their signs. We had to factor in how it’s rolled out to the rest of the Park and soon realised that by listing running, we then had to include; horse riding, walking and dogs too. Now we have one line that states exactly what the track is for and it’s not good enough... it does not get more direct than “Mountain bike only”. What part of this does not create the desired impression?
