Buffalo Roadies

So you know how some of the mountain bike stage races have a Buffalo category, which according to my understanding is anyone over 90kg, well even though its not an officially recognised category in the roadie realm, I'd be interested to know of some other Buffalos out there who have done some times they are quite proud of on road events.

 

I'll start with my 947 time from last year of 2h34 from C batch at around 92kg.

just proves that you don't always have to be 68kg... well done on a good time.

 

My best - which probably doesn't mean much as it was a flat race is 2:42 from this years Emperors at 91kg.

My best woukd be 3h15 for Tour Durban and 3h33 for Amashova. Both at around 110kg.

My best was 94.7, 2012 I think. 3hrs40 at 97kg's

 

I was smoking then and have ridden social on MTB ever since. Did manage a 4hr08 since, but I think that's as good as I'm gonna get. I love my food too much...

You guys are fast!  My best is 2:53 at Emperors at 102kg.  Not many downhill's to pick up speed and momentum.

There should also be a lightweight category, we K@K off in the wind when you big boys stretch the bunch out like a shoe lace)
