Hello everyone

So I have finally decided to let go of my deep section tubbies and go back to clinchers.

The choice has been made and I am ready to place my order for some great looking carbon wheels.

This is the problem I now have.

With the wide range of choices available, I cannot seem to make up my mind as to what wheels will look the best with my bike (from China so its only about the looks).

I have brought the selections down between the following wheels but now I need the input from my fellow hubbers.

* FFWD (not sure if it will be too red)

* Easton

* Dura Ace C50

* Campy Bora

Please note which you think will look the best... I have also added a photo of my bike.

Thanks in advance

I am in between the Dura-Ace and the Easton's if I had to pick straight out.

I am just not sure how the all white and black of the Easton will look. Would love if I could put someone's on the bike, but not sure if that will happen

I just seriously dislike the decals on the Dura Ace - looks like the kind of thing I would do on my PC in 5 minutes. Probably great wheels though...

I do agree on the Dura-Ace decals... They look very amateur and thus I am

thinking Easton...

It also looks quite sleek and fast.

Might be the best choice

Seeing they from China as you mentioned in the opening post, keep them plain carbon either matt or gloss.

If you really want stickers then come up with your own idea and get stickers made.

To me less is more! I love my 55mm deep sections in matt carbon!

Not a bad idea... I have seen these wheels and they do look pretty awesome...

From a design perspective its quite difficult to pick something out of a hat...

Will definitely consider it though

china wheels are great - best is to take it unbranded

one day you change you mind and want to sell it again

selling the wheels as pictured is not allowed on the Bikehub :whistling:

and don't forget to fasten the spoke nipples on each spoke ( drop of removable lock tide) before your first ride.- no jokes

Don't want to come down on a new set of wheels...

Did a lot of research and noted that the quality of these wheels are quite good

Seeing were speaking about chinese wheels, I know of some new rims being launched in the next month or so: 44mm profile.......planning to place an order soon

 with my last two sets (one 60mm and the other 88mm  ... please no questions ^_^ ) I bought the rims and hubs from Aliexpress and build it locally

carbon 11 speed Shimano hubs and spokes from Zipp 404 wheels

- full carbon clinchers (60mm) at 1580g :whistling:
