mudda Posted May 10, 2008 Share My first magalies - I punctured at the start! - had to fix - and started right at the back of the 45km mass start. Worked my way to 99th from the back of about 450 riders - was hectic - a bent small chain ring (after descending down some serious rocks! and bouncing off one of them with my ring (lol)) - almost doing a 360 degree endo on some of the rocky downhill sections. The monster will test ure skill. Its really a great race - its got plenty of climbs ,very soft sand - downhills with rocks for africa. U will have to walk/run at some point of the race.
