It was a very positive day, with really good teamwork. We knew we could pull back time on the leader today one way or another.

 

The rhythm was very high. We spent a lot of kilometres all day going very fast. That made everyone's bodies very tired. Of course I would have liked to take five minutes but the reality is you often want to do something but doing it is another story. But we're satisfied enough with what we've done today.

But still not cool that they attacked the pink jersey when he had a poop especially seeing that he was so nice as to sit up for Nairo the other day..who wasn't even in pink.

 

This is why this whole waiting for riders is stupid. The nice guys will always be taken advantage of..so no more Mr nice guy Dumoulin.

You are speculating here.. we don't know what was said or agreed upon..if there was anything it will come out soon enough..but there isn't much love lost between them..seen that before. And that comes from when Landa ignored team order a few years ago.. that right there was when I decided I don't like him..so no not because he is a skyborg..didn't like him before he moved

Well that's not something you see everyday...wtf!

I really hope TD will be a bit angry now and we see the not so nice side of him in the coming days.

He has the legs that's for sure and everybody will be gaar after that effort.

Must be up there with the best fight back efforts we have seen..to hold a charging Nibs and Q with team mates helping is a special effort

Why is QN getting pulled over the coals for attacking TD when he was having a boskak? And then getting called a wheelsucker the whole day. Obviously he got to stay with others endangering his second place?

 

To watch VN descend, WOW like watching porn has a 15 year old on VHS.

Never again will I say a win is beautiful without watching the whole stage. .I take it all back.. saw the highlights. jinne can't even fault Nairo there.. almost looked like when Nibbles attacked that he went over and had a stern word and Nibbles just didn't give a damn.. NOT COOL NIBBLES not cool

 

Not the way to remember Scarponi. .Nibbles will have very few friends in he peloton for the rest of the week.

Nobody moaned at him for attacking TD because he didn't. NQ has only attacked once the whole Giro

Ja I agree but Q was also more than happy to make the pace..even using Amador to the max.I think Q initial was thinking about waiting but there is no such thing as sort of waiting..you sit up until he is back or race.

It was clear that TD was coming back and when he got close to a minute they really pushed the pace.Q even flicking the elbow to make sure the pace stay high.

They both went for it full on and TD put up a great fight.No respect for either of them..from me.Hopefully they also don't try and come up with excuses..They must own it.You want to take time like that come out and say it like it is..

I really hope TD smash them big time now.

Disagree with general concensus and think it is fine for Nibali to have gone for it. It was obvious that TD was not going to make it back to the group and you can hardly expect them to neutralise the last 20 odd kays.

 

Very different situation from some sort of mishap where the leader will return to the group within a reasonable amont of time

Do you have a transcript of that.. or a link..

 

He is known for his honestly, have seen him use some very colourful language before lol.
