Nice pic of Simoni, I was a big fan, no one animated the race like him and Danilo Di Luca,

Yah,.. those were the days of real Giro racing, crazy Italians flying down mountains in the dense mist, appearing out of snow storms like ghostly specters, racing up mountains mano a mano, bouncing over dirt roads little more than farmers tracks, the most insane mountain stages and the best lead out train ever in the business with Fassa Bortolo and Petacchi, and no one ever complained .......but Hey, Quintana has sorted all that though, now we suffer through three weeks of boring wheel sucking....... we can only dream!.

Yah, I do too, Quintana has perfected the art of cycling tedium.

Its a pity because the Giro organizers always go out of their way to mix things up to make this event exciting, and now with no 'Berto, Porte', Froome, Kwiatkowski, Valverde etc we are left hoping Mollema, Landa, Kruijswijk and Nibali can pick things up............Hmmm!

Which idea is this? I am guessing the timed downhill and not the pink bikes.?

nice to see Gibbons and Fraile on their list. You must be happy there are two from the Green Machine?

Interesting list hey, Frosty

Yeah. Hoping for a Dale-Drapac stage win

Wouldn't mind seeing Formolo do well, not only in the GC but also nabbing a stage win. Your Green Machine has some exciting young talent in the squad.

Merida will beat them in that competition, their Scultura disc version is flippen heavy. If it was Friday I would say something else now, but I'll leave it up to you guys.

Go Nibbles

Cheering that cheat on is waaaay more contentious and "edgy" than commenting on discs :P
