Hi,

Maybe somebody on the Forum can help me.....

I ordered some Parts from Partshark the US for my old Yamaha 850 TDM - Needles and Seats -the parts are so small they could literally fit in a Matchbox!

They were shipped via USPS - according to the USPS Tracking Site they are 'in transit' at JHB International - I live in Cape Town.

The SAPO Tracking Site doesn't recognize the USPS Tracking Number.

Does anybody have some ideas as to how I can find them (this is the 2nd shipment - the 1st one disappeared into the ether...

Any help will be much appreciated....

Thanks,

Ian

did you use this post office online tracking facility? http://sms.postoffice.co.za/TrackingParcels/

It does recognize USPS tracking numbers, if the parcel was scanned in. I've tracked recent parcels sent via USPS via that service, no problem. Took a damn long for the parcel to be scanned though.

Yip, my spark plugs were stuck in JHB for about 3 weeks...stuff from the US takes about a month in total I've found...fedex, USPS, not much difference.

But try calling them. At least they'll tell you they have it. One package of mine was delayed because no-one asked me for payment of duties to release it.
