I've been eyeing that Fenix 3 sapphire HR for a while! Just can't quite justify the cost quite yet...

It's flipping expensive and unaffordable for me right now...but I'm working on a plan for it...long term plan...by then something else would have probably come out..lol.

I saw why it is so expensive: It looks the business and can be worn as a smart watch, casual watch and of course fitness watch. From the little a I played with it, it seems to have EVERYTHING you need and of course can pair with garmin cadence sensors...etc.

The thing that concerned me was that it may irritate me when I cycle and was looking at a far cheaper cycling specific computer but then thought to myself, what about tracking my exercise during the week (non cycling)? Steps taken during the day? Sleep patterns? all that jazz and the Fenix seemed to cover it all. Oh yes, apparently amongst all those features, it tells the time too

Go for the Fenix 3. Awesome watch and has all the stuff you need

So m looking at this purely from a sexy watch perspective. The fitness stuff is a bonus :-)

Garmin all the way!

And you will thank yourself form making the decision should you ever need to make use of their backup.

I had a Edge 800 and now have the Edge 810 and bought myself a Forerunner 735XT about two months ago. I'm extremely satisfied with their products.

Tested the live Strava Segments out yet on the 735XT? would love to know how good it works!
