That's strange I know of a few that ordered from there in the past month. 

Maybe Garmin South Africa read this thread and imposed the importing restriction?

 

I'd say just phone them and place the order over the phone.

CRC and Wiggle did not ship to RSA, looks like Evans got slapped on the wrist. (still think you should call though.

Cool, thanks, will do! Confounds me how you can save R 2000 ( a third of the price in SA) by ordering from overseas though, I know this topic has been flogged to death weekly on these forums so not looking to turn this poor thread into another one of those, but just saying it's madness. . .

That policy must've been implemented in the past 2 days only. (There is always a way around anything, remember)
