94.7 travel time to venue

Hi guys

First time that I'm starting 94.7 at Riversands, starting at 8:30. How much time should I allow to travel to the venue? Driving from Sunninghill, so also need to decide whether to take W Nicol or Main.

Any advice?

2 hours minimum. If you can, cycle there instead. Will save some time.

I would leave at 6:20. Gives you just over an hour to get there and and hour to get to the start line.

 

The traffic will be heavy but improves every year.

 

Also listen to 947 or get the 947 app, they will be providing traffic info on the day.

No man. From Sunninghill go straight down witkoppen to main, turn right and then left into Lonehill blvd. Go all the way to the Leaping Frog and park there. Kit up and ride through to Riversands. Will save you a world of pain. Leave at 6:30. Park by 7, kit up and leave by 7:30. Plenty time to coast down William Nicol, right into Ealing where you will take a good look at the finish and head up to your start chute
