I reckon the tailwind caused the peloton not to let anyone go... it's always crazy when there is a tailwind they don't want to give an inch hey.. this was just insane..

It was a very aggressive addition of the PR.. similar to last year's Flanders ..also full gas from the start

.so hectic..

Yes, sorry I forgot that I am not yet allowed an opinion on racing matters yet....

Looked like a total shambles to me. Katusha tried to control the race but it didn't last long.

Seems like the best laid plans went out the window early on.

Team leaders appeared isolated and the pace didn't really allow anyone to sit up and wait.

Kudus to Oss, I'm sure GvA bought him a beer.

GvA is a deserved winner but he had some luck on his side.

As one needs to win at PR (from what the Hub experts seem to say, not my noob opinion)

Ja luck plays a part in it, but GVA also had his fair share of bad luck yesterday.

But BMC rode a smart race yesterday.. and OSS deserves a crate of beer.

Still my favourite result of yesterday is Greipel's 7th place..man it was awesome watching him.

BMC won because of a The Oss Machine, GvA's champion mentality and a dose of good fortune.

What a beautiful race by the man and complete dominance in the final 127 meters of the velodrome sprint finish.

Of all the scenarios that Andrea Guardini envisaged at the end of Paris-Roubaix, he probably didn’t expect to be watching the finale of the race from inside a police station after getting picked up by police for riding on a motorway.

The UAE Team Emirates rider decided to abandon the race at the second feed zone with 68km remaining, but was told by a soigneur that they wouldn’t be leaving in the team car for another 40 minutes.

Deciding that it would be quicker to ride to the finish himself, the Italian rider then set off on the most direct route, which unfortunately included the A23 motorway.

In the past I have felt some of the guys who won just got real lucky. And sure, lady luck has to me smiling at you to win PR, but I say GVA really was the best on/of the day: getting in the final break that counted, pulling hard to keep the gap, and that final sprint was just totally awesome. Also he team played it well as well: Oss going out the way he did to make the others chase.  And remember Greg had to work hard to get back after that technical as well.

Obviously I have no correct opinion on this matter. Your years of watching races trumps me actually racing bicycle races and having ex WT riders as training buddies, and obviously they are talking **** too.

I'll just shut up about races going forward.
