Schnavel Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I recently acquired a Specialized Venge (pre-VIAS version) in a size 54cm. It is almost identical in dimensions to my current frame (Swift Ultravox TI), so it will fit perfectly. However, when I was setting up the Venge last night, the seatpost is 30mm too short for my saddle height. After a bit of Googling, it would appear that the 52cm & 54cm frames come with a 300mm seatpost and the 56cm+ frames come with the 350mm seatpost. Anyone have an idea where a 350mm seatpost can be purchased locally? Does anyone maybe have a spare one lying around or willing to swap their 350mm seatpost for my 300mm seatpost? Any urgent assistance is greatly appreciated! *Edit: Spelling
gg2 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 hi Budi have a 'spare" at home will measure tonight. issue was the "round" swivel part had to be bonded to get saddle to sit square. so was always a spare when i got new post will let you know length tomorrowsend cell can forward pics later if length ok, can have but will have to sort out postage or delivery/collection from Durban
Pure Savage Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Ummm.. Not great news, I had a 350mm that snapped last year, the only one in the country at the time was a 300mm which I had to get.

More than happy to arrange for postage. Otherwise, I'm in contact with a lot of the Spez stores in an attempt to get another post. So far they are still checking their stock - maybe swapping it out won't be a bad idea, hadn't thought of that.
