So what is a wide enough rim for a 25c or a 28c?

 

I have 622x17c rims that came with 23c tyres.

I ride 21,23 and 25 depending on rim type. Putting 25 and larger on an older design rim will affect the aerodynamic performance.

i just looked at the profile pic and thought i started a fred without knowing about it....
