Not if you're planning on jump lines like G-spot you mentioned. That fork and your weight (assuming it won't be less than 70 kg if you're 1.95m tall) will not be the best match.

The Trance 2 is the bike you'd want, but looking at local webpage, it seems it's only the Trance 1.5 or 3 that's available.

Haha okay cool

I would like something not solely e.g. G-spot but also more technical all mountain capability

Although flying down G-Spot feels amazing, I must say that I will prefer a 29"

No, on a good day I'm 85kg

No. Not the Stance.

Camber / Stumpy / New Anthem / Trance / Silverback Slider / Trek Fuel / Scott Spark (new one with the vertical shock placement) / Pyga 110 120 140

Awesome, will check them all out thanks mate

The verdict is buy a YT Jeffsy rather :-) Although at 1.95 m even their XL may be a little short...

You've made your point good sir.

Now my only question is :

or

Gonna order it to the UK/US and have family coming back to SA bring it with and save the odd R20k

I'm leaning towards the Al2 not only because the colour looks amazing

AL One. 2 x drivetrains are ok for cross country type of riding, but the simplicity of a 1x drive train on trails can't be matched.

Also, have a look at this deal:

2017 Giant Trance 1.5 LTD

Was: R 47,900

Now: R 38,999

The white 'n black colour scheme is gorgeous. There isn't much seperating the two bikes. Suspension wise they're identical. The AL One does have slightly better drivetrain and brakes.

Either way, don't get too caught up on the spec sheet. Choose the one you keep going back to.
