when I was a kid I prayed for a bicycle every day, but never got one. Then someone told me god doesn't work that way, so I went out and stole one instead.

Of course prayer without action isn't effective, I agree with that.

 

The 'Resolved' part was adding some click bait effect to it, I will definitely change the heading. Any recommendation?

A very emotional topic no matter which side of the religious line one is,  such as this, will not be turned into click bait. Changing the heading post click baiting does not cut it either.
