It starts with the team time trial in Lido di Camaiore , flat and fast with virtually only four curves (won the last edition of the BMC Racing Team); the next day mixed stage Camaiore-Pomarance with four climbs along the route of which the last is especially suited to finisseur. Stage: 1 - 8 March : Lido di Camaiore TTT, 22.70 km

Stage: 2 - 9 March : Camaiore - Pomarance, 228.00 km
Move step and articulated especially in the second half with the final uphill suitable for finisseurs. From Camaiore and reach the seafront lido to continue south towards Viareggio before and Pisa then to abandon completely flat area near Collesalvetti where they begin the first gentle undulations. LAST KM

After Volterra up towards Cerreto with a long climb , but very irregular alternating stretches more than 10/12% at intervals of around 2/3%. Final pedaled the last half curve, asphalt, roadway of 7 m.

Stage: 3 - 10 March : Monterotondo Marittimo - Montalto di Castro, 204.00 km

Stage: 4 - 11 March : Montalto di Castro - Terminillo, 171.00 km

It is the hardest stage with an uphill finish . It crosses the province of Viterbo in addition to tapping the capital also Tuscania and Vignanello (with GPM The Colonnetta the Cimini mountains ). It continues on a slight slope along the Via Flaminia through Narni , and Terni to trace the Marmore and then cross the plain of Rieti (short climb in Castelfranco) up to Vazia where he began the final climb to Terminillo (Campoforogna): 16.1 km to 7, 3% (max 12%) .
LAST KM

The last kilometers of the stage coincide with the final climb of the Monte Terminillo . It is a climb with two long stretches of constant inclination around 7.5-8% interspersed by little less than two kilometers to 3-4% in Pian di Rosce . Both sides are sloping substantially devoid of particularly intense tear, but also of the rest parts. The last few hundred meters are of lower slope than the rest of the climb. A Campoforogna the straight measuring a width of 7 m and 200 m long on the uphill tarmac between 2 and 3%.

Stage: 5 - 12 March : Rieti - Fermo, 209.00 km

It is the stage of Walls made up of two distinct parts . The first through the Apennines to the gates of the province of Fermo and the second articulated with 7 walls between arrival and approach the final circuit. In the first part we follow the Via Salaria until the crossing Tower to descend until the doors of Ascoli Piceno and take, through some valleys, towards Fermo. Meet Venarotta (TV) , Montelparo (GPM) and Grottazzolina (TV) . First step in Fermo to address the Capodarco climb (GPM) in rapid sequence the ascent of Fermo-Reputolo with the next step near the finish. Hence a semi-circuit of approximately 22 km with climbs of Madonnetta d'Ete and again Fermo-Reputolo .

Last kilometers all in substantial climb . After the Reputolo climb that leads in ' town of Fermo (gradients up to 22%) continue to climb through narrow streets and paved in porphyry is also high slope. Short descent to the last 750 meters and then climb up to the arrival of a flight at around 10% . Track width of 6 m, asphalted.
