APJ88 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 ....so tomorrow is the Argus cycle tour and when going out on a relaxing spin this morning my rear derailleur broke....a day before the Argus. Now I think from a bikeshops perspective bringing your bike in a day before a massive race like the Argus is just a no no. Anyway I popped my bike in at 8:30 - Trevor Marshall ( store manager) made the problem his own, 15 minutes later I rode out with the problem solved. That is what I call 'out of the ordinary' service. awesme Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Not to take away from the Spez shop, had a friend (from Job, down in Cpt for CTCT tomorrow) with some gear problems (was skipping 2 gears) also quickly pop into CWC... sorted out in a snap, great service. The shops def realizing nothing beats good service, does not matter if quiet time or right before a race when it crazy busy, people remember, and the words gets around. G
