Help identify product

Okay so I'm planning on ordering my my 1x11 very soon.

 

Now i have been running shimano slx (bl-m675) brakes and will continue to do so. I have been using i spec-b shifters no problem.

 

Now fast forward to CRC and the Xt m8000 comes in bar mont, I spec 2 and I spec-b ??

 

 

I cant find any pics of a m8000 shifter with the ispec b head , so i'm very weary 

 

Anyone know if this is indeed the very same as the old Ispec-b and if it will go onto my brakes no problem ?

 

 

Some would say just order the bar mount one , but you can remove the shifting inciactor without exposing the the internals ( no cover provided like the old shifters )

Quite a bit cheaper than CRC

 

AFAIK all I-Spec B is the same. I ordered this:

Only snag is I didn't order the bolt kit to make it fit my I-Spec A brakes. Doh. Hopefully can get that locally.

So CWC cycles has the 1X11 upgrade kit on special.

 

I have SLX brakes with Ispec B shifter mounts and recently ordered the kit from CWC so was in your exact same boat.

It came with the cover in the box so you can remove shift indicator and cover internals, the bar mount is very slim and you will barely notice it.

 

There is no real issue here at all.

My 2c though, order from CWC, local is lekker, they support the hub.As usual the service was brilliant and I had it on my bike 3 days after ordering and haven't looked back.
