Mrs Colonel Posted May 20, 2008 Share Is this the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning?Mdk has ever so graciously invited me to join him for the double the fun on Saturday!! I've been fully briefed and have been given a list as long as my arm of all the do's and don'ts. Don't know if I'm more nervous or excited...anyone got any advice? How many sleeps left until Sat? Skye Posted May 20, 2008 Share mmmm Where should I start As me I have been there done that and got the T-Shirt!!!!! Only a small bit of advice I have: DO Close your eyes on the down hills, serious speed you have no idea Make sure he understands you from the word GO!!! Make sure he understand when you are screaming you are not screaming cause you are having fun, you are screaming because you are S****ing yourself Make sure when he blows his nose he leans far enough that it doesn't spray you on your legs and hands Do lean the same way as he does Do make sure he doesn't let his sweat drop on your water bottles Do make sure you have a nice spot to punch if he goes to fast DON'T Stop peddling cause you are tired..... I did that and we almost fell Don't try and take control from the back Don't look to long at his back, learn to look side ways and down otherwise sea sickness sets in AND that is HORRID Don't talk to much as the oke on the front thinks you are not working hard enough. NOPE don't even try and stand as that could be ........ well let me just say, don't stand!!!! Don't what ever you do, take a cell call or even better make one Enjoy and take care make sure you close your eyes on the down hills

[/quote'] ha ha ha Z/C you have no idea what goes through your head the 1st couple of times. It is really difficult sitting at the back of the bike having NO CONTROL what so ever, ESPECIALLY if you have been on your own bike for so long. Told hubby the other day, ok it's your turn to sit on the back for a change he looked at me as if I had lost the plot AND SAID..... ARE YOU MAD!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING
