Reparing my Lake Road shoes

My lake cycling shoes have broken. The cable has come out of the unit. Don't know what to call it.

Anyone out there who can repair these shoes or if you know of anyone who does.

Guy that makes prostheses in Pta. He makes casts and splints or braces with the same cable tensionners as used on Spez shoes. "Poq or pod' something like that. (don't know if it's the same as Lake)

Check if its under warranty. Lake uses the BOA closure system which has a lifetime warranty if I'm correct.

If its boa just send them a mail and they send you the spares. They did so for my Scott's

Any bike shop (and certainly every Spez shop) should be able to fix it in a few minutes.

 

I have twice broken the thread and had them fixed, once in Cape Town and once in JHB while I waited.

Apologies for piggy backing on this tread, my Boa systems' dialing Knob just broke off.  I don't have other road shoes.... which means for me this is a problem.   Huge .... as some president would say 

• Can this also be fixed or just the treading?
• Can I go to any Spez shop for help?
• How long will it take to fix (ie  do they sent the shoes away or order parts from the last town in Russia which only get mail once a month or something )
• And how much can I expect to pay ( ball park)
