Finding an expired classified advert

Is there a way to view an expired advert? There was a giant TCR advanced in the classifieds about two weeks ago and after this payday it seems I can afford it, only to have the ad expire and me not remember who posted it. Anyone able to help?

It might have been, however the ad was up for a good while with no comments or that many views compared to some I have seen. I would just like to find out one way or another, send the seller a pm for example.

 

Just remembered that it was a bike rental crowd from Cape Town doing the selling.

Google from the search bar '<key words> site:bikehub.co.za'

 

Look for the green writing that says cached on the search results. That might get you there.

let me teach you some google-fu.

Go to google and type this in your search results:

site:www.bikehub.co.za giant tcr advanced

That will use google to search the site for the term giant tcr advanced(you can obviously change this search term)

The ad will not when when you click on the link because it has been deleted but fortunately google saves cached pages in its search results, so click the arrow next to the description and choose cached.

Good luck finding the right one, seems there were a few ads.

What size was the bike? Was it perhaps Justin Murray, black TCR with 105?

I think iRide Africa was selling off some Giants recently and they were TCR's. Might be a different mob but worth giving them a shout.
