Hi all

Just want to find out if anyone is leaving from Bryanston Virgin Active

I go there for spinning each morning and see a lot of guys leaving from there

I would like to join them but how far to they go, and what speed and which days?

I'm and average/good cyclist so want to join but don't know anyone there

Please let me know...

Are you maybe talking about the engen on main road group which leaves at 5? They start down main road?

Hi

Yes it might be the same group as the engen is just around the corner

If I were to join on a slower day, i.e. Wednesday or Friday on a MTB, would I be accepted in the group to ride along?

Sometimes road riders can be funny when it comes to things like that?

I do not have a road bike...

Also looking for groups to ride with as I feel that it is much safer and a cool opportunity to meet people and see new routes.

The Tuesday ride will be tough on a MTB and the guys might frown upon somebody rocking up on a MTB. It would be like a guy pitching in the Vets starting shoot with his MTB.

Wed and especially Fridays, who cares go have fun.

There are always 2 groups that leave from the Engen, the slower groups generally leaves around 4:50, faster group around 4:55.

Rock up, say hi and ask which group is leaving.

I suggest starting in the B group. Always a good ride and everyone is generally friendly and will help.

Sure. There is a mtb group too that rides with until emmerentia dam and then turn off road.

Why ride in a group, or why ride on an MTB?

Training alone gets tedious, so not hard to imagine why.

I was asking why ride a mtb on a road training ride, read properly!

Comprehension fail. I blame my flu meds. No need to be an asshole about it though.
