There are normally a range of bunches (15-30km/h) which tend to sort themselves out going up Beyers Naude towards the Dome. The first control (Sasol at Pelindaba) is about 100km in. Riders normally regroup here, get their cards stamped and get a snack. The second control is at the Magaliesburg Wimpy. This is 150km in. Some riders stop and have brunch/lunch here.
