Jetblack Whisper Drive Trainer

Has anyone owned or heard anything about the Jetblack Whisper Drive Trainer?

Looking for a trainer to fill the gaps caused by weather, the dreaded lurgi, family etc.

 

There's only one mention on the forums and not too many reviews.

Would really appreciate any advice.

I heard of them, but dont know hiw good they are.

 

When shelling out for a high cost item that is supposed to take constant punishment, I would stick to well known brands who are known give great product support backup, like Cycleops and Wahoo.

I have been looking Jetblack and BKool as a more affordable alternative to the other well known brands and to be different.

Are they not from Australia?

We have a few Spanish residents in our town and they love their BKool systems, seen the first one around 3 years ago.

 

At the end of the day I agree with Harryn, reason why I have not pulled the trigger.

I really don't need and can't justify a top end trainer like the Neo or Kickr

but would still like an off wheel trainer. 

Think the Cycleops Silencer would similar but can't find stock anywhere.

 

Any other recommendations for an off wheel trainer around R8000?

I have a jetblack fluid trainer, the Z1 I think.

 

Its been great for the last two years. Extremely well built, no wear to speak of and no hassles in all manner.

 

If it's the right price and function, no need to be scared of the Jetblack brand

Hi Bump, we don't bring the Silencer in as it has been discontinued and we struggled to justify bringing it in due to the pricing even when it was available.

 

Our Magnus "smart" trainer is on special at R8 499.00 at Cyclelab and the Hammer is R17 995.00

 

I am not aware of any direct trainer brands other than the Jet Black that would hit the price point you looking for i.e. <R8 000.00
