(where's the facepalm emoticon when you need it)

The crank has been spun long before he comes into shot and the wheel is in the air and spinning the entire time he is in shot during the slow mo.

Go check the crash video where you see him and Tony hitting the deck. Keep watching until the end and you can see him in left of picture putting back the chain.

The crank goes from spinning backwards to spinning forwards with the back wheel off the ground. If he had spun the cranks to get the chain on why is the crank originally spinning backwards? And to my eyes the back wheel accelerates just before it touches the ground again. ( I apologise if I'm coming across dof to you but I'm telling it as I see it)

If it was a motor it was the most useless motor in the world, as the bike doesn’t move an inch forward when the wheel hits the tar. The team should ask for their money back.

10 watts is 10 watts...  Probably no motor but that video is weird. It raises the question with me.

Bike went into the x-ray machine after the stage.

Will catch the highlights of the tennis, but go Kevin and the WC is tonight..I haven't watched GP in years.. but go Rossi (he is still riding hey). Saw him race once in Welkom when he was still riding 250cc..man what a ride started almost stone last and won it.. Biaggi still threw some donuts right in front of us after his 500cc win that day...I was a Biaggi fan.

Did you guys watch the mens doubles final last night, our Saffa almost had it.

Using a 10watt motor while the peloton is chilling seems like a bit off a big risk to take, for effectively zero reward.

I 100% agree that motors pose a risk to the sport. But we need to make sure we don’t freak about photo of a frizbee because we want it to be a UFO, else we just detract from the real cuplrits and problems.

Mountain stages, ITTs and I think long fast descents are where riders have spun out, is when we need to keep our eyes peeled.

Kevin has his work cut out for him Djokovic has an incredible return of serve..he won't just be able to rely on his big serve today.. but Rafa did a good job tiring Nole out over 2 days[emoji6]

I fear for Porte today..they have a strong team for today but GVA has his own ambitions ..this is not ideal for Porte.

I thought of it yesterday when he got another 1 sec bonus. Why dont they sent Porte to the front for that second. It could be the difference between 1st and 2nd in Paris.

Just go try it out on your bike.

I have checked it on my bike a while ago. Hold rear wheel off ground, spin it up, throw crank backwards and come report back if it went from rotating backwards to forwards...

Your freewheel isn't perfect, it will transfer that forward momentum through the chain to the crank, eventually making it go from backwards to forwards.

Was sooo close..I really wanted them to win..especially because the commentator kept on going on about how amazing the Americans are..and then that incident with the foul shot really got me..really arrogant!!
