Does anyone know anything about printing water slide decals for bikes. I know where to get the Water Slide paper, but need to know what type of printer to use for the best color results.

you asked so here goes ...........

you can order water slide decal paper on amazon - microscale industries water decal paper (+/- R 80 sheet) note sheets are in US sizing and must be sized and printed according

you get clear - for dark decals on lighter backgrounds
and white - lighter decals on dark backgrounds

you need to print then on a colour laser printer only (only!!) no inkjets

you need the microfilm sealent to seal them after placement (also on amazon little bottle quite expensive but goes a long way )

you need a skill knife and a board to trim them (no crappy scissors)

and you cannot print the colour WHITE

they are very tricky to place - slide on to a wet clean degreased surface (very carefully because they can break up ) etc etc

and then you need to clear coat over them .

oh yes and you need to PC graphic skills(and software) to produce them and size them

i use them a lot but ive had a lot of practice so there is much less swearing now :whistling:

its a bloody pain ....enjoy
