Asg Paarl Poor Service

The service of this store is terrible. I was at the shop on 2 Jan on my way to CPT and the store was closed. Normal working day? No worries, I can always make use of the courier service.

So I phone the shop on the 3rd, to make sure about stock availability regarding a jersey that I want to buy, so that I dont drive through from Cape Town unnecessarily. The salesman says he will phone me back shortly. About two hours later I phone the store again and they do confirm availability of what I want.

So now I was told that an invoice will be emailed to me and the goods will be delivered to me via courier and do not have to drive all the way through to Paarl. Nothing recieved on the 3rd.

This morning, 4 Jan, I phone the shop again, and the salesman tells me, he is standing with my stuff in his hands as we speak and he will send me the invoice for payment ASAP.

It is now 14:35 and still havent recieved anything.

No chance that I will do business with this shop online ever. Please delete my online account.

There is definitely more than one sales person at the shop. I do not want to mention the name of the guy that was helping me.

Check the other threads concerning ASG. Plenty of excuses from their side but it seems nothing has changed. Officially worst online store that I have ever dealt with.

Cranker cranky

Easy, man. It's always slow-ish service a few days after New Year.

Even my LBS couldn't fix my fiets on the same day. And they're always stellar.

Had similar bad service from them as well. Sign on the door says working hours are until 12:30. Got there at 12:15 and was told to leave the shop. My sister in law had her bike stolen and was looking to replace it. Won’t be buying it from them

Considering the time of year (in the Cape nobody works on the 1st and 2nd) I think you may be a bit harsh on them.

Sure maybe they have a bit of history.

Problem nowadays "I want it and I want it now!!!"

Sorry Mate. Cant agree with you on this one.

If you want to remain competitive in these difficult times, you have to go beyond the extra mile.

If I have the money and I want it, then I want it now. And if a business cant give it to me now with a valid reason, I will source it elsewhere.

I beg no business to take my money, there is more that enough competition out there.
