They had organised with a local guy who showed them the trails. Maybe check with the Trouthaven camp owners. I fished with my 7yr old son (= undid lots of knotted line).
johannrissik Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 It's rather renowned for the little hike-bike at the end of RASA. Otherwise I can't imagine there's too much off the road. It's called Trouthaven for a reason....

Practice for your next Freedom Challenge and Hike from Trouthaven up to the top of Stattyns, then ride back to the lodge via the old road. Roshambo's are probably not a good suggestion if you actually want anyone to offer a reasonable suggestion.....

DaveRussellr Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Hi, If you are referring to the trouthaven just outside rawsonville then there is only a short 5km loop in the mountains above the reception area with some trail - you will need to do some gravel road to get some distance in.

I was thinking of Panorama, wrong place but also has great spot for fishing and swimming, sorry if I lead anyone off the garden path.
